As a rule of thumb, every degree lower the room temperature saves around 6% in heating energy. With a heated blanket or a heating pad, you warm yourself directly – so it stays cozy, even when the thermostat is set lower.

Many heated blankets are washable once the hand controller has been removed. Please check the care label of the respective product.

Clean the window frame, apply double-sided adhesive tape, press the film into place and smooth it out with a hairdryer – the heat makes the film taut. Trim off any excess, and you're done. It can be removed again in spring.
